Letterfrack is situated 1 hour from Galway city. It is beneath the Diamond Mountain, next door to the Connemara National Park and leads into the Renvyle Peninsula.

Kylemore Abbey is 5 minutes down the road, Scuba Dive West is a short drive away and there are numerous unspoilt beaches and lakes nearby. The villages of Tully, and Tully Cross, are a 5-10 minute drive away, Leenane is 15 minutes and the town of Clifden is 20 minutes away by car giving many options for places to stay and places to visit.
